Oxford Finance

$1.8+ Billion in Capital Deployed
29 New Platform Transactions
15 New Sponsor Relationships
7 Credit Facility Upsizes
50+ DDTL Fundings to Existing Borrowers

Oxford’s Leveraged Lending Group had a record year with over $2.5 billion in new capital commitments in 2025, and $1.8 billion in capital deployed to new and existing borrowers. Proceeds were used to support LBOs, refinancings, M&A and growth initiatives. We completed 29 platform investments that were made alongside 15 new private equity relationships, as well as new and follow-on investments with repeat sponsor clients. The Group’s business services & technology vertical coverage, launched in 2024, generated almost $1 billion of the new commitments, with the remaining investments made in healthcare services & life sciences sectors.

In anticipation of continued growth, Oxford hired several new team members. Eric Veale, based in our San Diego office, and Rafal Rydzewski, based in our New York office, recently joined as Senior Directors to expand our sponsor coverage & origination capabilities. Austin Parker and John Joyce, both based in our San Diego office, joined as Directors earlier in the year and support underwriting & portfolio management.

Looking ahead, we expect middle market M&A activity to increase in 2026 and for debt capital markets to remain competitive. We remain excited about the opportunities ahead for private credit and to further build relationships with our portfolio of borrowers and private equity investors who recognize Oxford’s value-added knowledge, flexible capital solutions, and efficient execution capabilities.
