Ajay Nanda brings over 25 years of experience in business development and credit management skills to Oxford Finance, specializing in loan structuring, portfolio management, and underwriting senior secured leveraged loans.

Prior to joining Oxford in 2017, he managed a $1BN healthcare portfolio for American Capital, a middle market private equity firm where he focused on underwriting and managing syndicated leveraged loans. He also served as Senior Vice President for Avenue Capital Group, a hedge fund where he was instrumental in building a $3.5BN leveraged loan portfolio. In prior roles, he underwrote and managed portfolios in Business Services, Technology, Gaming & Lodging, Oil & Gas, Transportation, Chemicals, and Professional Sports with Siemens Financial, HypoVereinsbank, and Fuji Bank.

Ajay earned his B.A. in Business Administration from Berea College, and his M.B.A in Finance from The College of William and Mary – The Mason School of Business.
