David Hickman joined Oxford Finance in 2014 and has over 20 years of experience in the life sciences and tech industries. He manages Oxford’s enterprise lending division, which encompasses life sciences, SaaS (ARR), and technology companies.

Before joining Oxford, David was a Senior Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank, where he led due diligence and underwriting for private equity and venture capital firms. During his tenure at Silicon Valley Bank, he also served as Vice President of a team dedicated to providing venture loans to life sciences and technology companies. Prior to Silicon Valley Bank, David worked in Hong Kong for ValenceTech LTD, a fabless semiconductor company.

David holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
